DESCRIPTION:
Infusion from leaves of this bush growing wild in South Africa tastes as sweet as honey.
Honeybush plant is indigenous to South Africa's Eastern Cape region. The taste of honeybush tea is similar to that of rooibos, though slightly sweeter and fuller bodied. Like rooibos, it is caffeine free and very low on tannins. Honeybush contains many minerals - iron, potassium, calcium, copper, zinc, magnesium, manganese and sodium.
