The organic garden Jamguri produces finely worked Assam tea leaves dotted with golden tips. The rich, auburn infusion seduces with its distinct, malty flavour.
Jamguri tea estate is situated in the Golaghat district on the South Eastern boundary of Assam. It gets its name from the Jamun – the small, succulent, dark purple fruit that once grew wild on the land where the estate now stands. ‘Guri’ means place and therefore ‘Jamguri’ means ‘the place of Jamun’.
