TGBOP (Tippy Golden Broken Orange Pekoe)

The Jamguri garden produces organic teas of the highest standard with a full body and a well worked leaf. This Broken Assam dotted with golden tips is spicy and malty and produces a very dark cup.

Jamguri tea estate is situated in the Golaghat district on the South Eastern boundary of Assam. It gets its name from the Jamun – the small, succulent, dark purple fruit that once grew wild on the land where the estate now stands. ‘Guri’ means place and therefore ‘Jamguri’ means ‘the place of Jamun’.
