    Help us lower our environmental footprint.

    We are happy to fill your tins/jars with our loose teas, herbs, and spices. *

    All we ask is that containers are clean, dry, and odorless; otherwise the tea will absorb odors/moisture.

    Also, allow for extra time. Sometimes this process takes longer then just picking up a ready made packed of tea.

    *Please note that some teas and many herbs are very light so a larger container may be required.

Keep your tea dry and enjoy a smile

These Kotodo canisters are difficult to find in Canada, so I was happy to order five of them and even happier when they arrived and I saw how lovely and well made they are. This one, with clouds and Mount Fuji, is so cheering. It would be great to have the larger sizes of these canisters as well.

Lovely and well crafted

White cranes, blue sky, cherry blossoms - so very pleasing to the eye! These Kotodo canisters are airtight, their inner lid is metal (unlike some other brands, which use plastic), and they'll keep my tea safe from the humidity here on the BC coast. Very pleased with all the canisters I ordered and with the service from Blue Teapot.

This tea canister is such a pleasure to see on my shelf and it is, as described, airtight and meticulously finished. The colours and design of the washi paper used for this canister are absolutely gorgeous.
