This strong and aromatic organic tea is grown in the highlands of Rwanda. Rukeri is part of the Sorwathe tea estate, the highest garden in Africa.
Rwanda offers high elevation, tropical highland climate and rich volcanic soil to support its tea gardens.

GoodCleanMud As of today Rukeri remains my favorite all-purpose black tea. To my senses it has a wonderful, sophisticated aroma and steeps to a deep color. I prefer it to traditional "breakfast" or "Grey" teas as it has enough of its own flavor to be both satisfying and comforting.
