Honeybush plant is indigenous to South Africa's Eastern Cape region. The taste of honeybush tea is similar to that of rooibos, though slightly sweeter and fuller bodied. Like rooibos, it is caffeine free and very low on tannins. Honeybush contains many minerals - iron, potassium, calcium, copper, zinc, magnesium, manganese and sodium.
